Fibre Optics

Fibre optic links are ideal for high-speed long distance data links. Fibre cables are more secure and offer faster data rates than copper cables. Fibres are not affected by electromagnetic interference and may be enclosed in waterproof and strengthened jackets.

If your link exceeds 100m, runs outside, passes through a harsh industrial environment or you just need to run at very high speeds, then fibre is the answer.

We can install both single and multi mode fibres terminated in STII, SC, LC and MTRJ connectors in either internal or external grade jackets.

We use our own fibre splicing kits and OTDR test equipment. Full testing and certification is provided.
